There should be the ability to add a task when viewing the daily digest that's available in the android notification.

Or, have a persistent "add task" notification (but visible when the notification bar is pulled down)...I'm not sure what that feature is called, low or hidden notifications? I know they don't show an icon on the status bar nor on the lock screen.
