Show the pop-up if you click on the task (not just mouseover it)

You have to highlight a task to show its popup; if you click, the popup disappears.
This really unintuitive behavior I've gotten used to, but I had to stop and rethink about it to explain to my mom. Any way to get that subtle problem fixed?
