I use repeated tasks as reminders for future items to take care of. However, there is no easy way to postpone such a task without a lot of work. Since I am planning for an unknown future, I may not be able to accomplish the completed task on the date it surfaces. It would be very helpful to dismiss the repeated task while leaving a copy as an unrepeated task that can be postponed.
