Gmail is updating ahead of you guys. It must be frustrating, but I have been unsupported for two weeks. One version gets supported but when I check I have new version. Is it possible to somehow stop the automatic update feature for Gmail?

Unfortunately not. We update the extension as soon as we can, and we need to make sure we support each version, as some can linger on different accounts for a longer time.
