Deleting tags from tag list

I have 5 tags in the tag list. 2 have no tasks, complete or incomplete. I can't find a way to delete them either on my Mac or iPad. There is nothing in settings about tags.

You can either hide empty tags in the web/desktop app or delete them in either app (web/desktop or iPad).
