Share vs Give Task?

bugsie says:
Hi,
How do I share a task with someone vs. give the task to them?
The latter means it does not feature in my smart lists which is not what I want. I'd like for it to feature in both persons lists.
Thanks

Hi bugsie,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Sharing is done by list, so a task in a shared list is automatically shared with your contact or contacts.
Giving a task is done by task, so a single task can be given to someone (or even yourself).
(Tasks can be given within a shared list too, which makes giving yourself make more sense!)
If you're looking to capture both you could use the following search:
isShared:true OR isGiven:true
Hope this helps! Keep me posted on what you find with your Smart List.
